Good point, there are no examples I can think of where anyone has portrayed #eugenics positively in fiction.https://twitter.com/asbdahfg/status/1451190937179148288 …

Anyone know some "based" fiction that explores the positive potential of eugenics / longterm risks of dysgenics in a (by fictional standarts) realistic manner? Looking for a reference i can point normies to so they get where im coming from.

C'mon Roko - gonna lose your nerd card for this one. Dune and a movie version was even released recently.

Seveneves. Doesn't portray positively or negatively. More neutrally as a fact of the future.

Anyways I think both dysgenics and eugenics are dumb concepts.

There's no answer to that question that doesn't boil down to "magic"

50% of the human population is already eugenicists and has been practicing eugenics on a world wide scale for hundreds of thousands of years. We call them women.

Our eugenicists evaluate the whole human in a social context and spend months doing it. And they are very picky. And they all have there own ideas of constitutes the best. You would replace this with something more expert and bureaucratic? Trust the experts? Or bureacrats? Lol.

This is laughably wrong. Eurasian women have not had sexual freedom of choice for at least 50k years and so their mate evaluation algorithms are not precisely attuned to positive traits. Example:pic.twitter.com/gp0oX8fuQv

They're choosing traits selfishly, mating with criminals so that their sons can free-ride on society.

Still too optimistic. Serial killers and school shooters don't free-ride on society - they're not getting any (material) benefit out of it.

They're an extreme version (super stimulus) for selfishness, and in zero sum games for food, shelter, mates etc that selfishness is adaptive.
