When I was in college, I had a guy friend who used to walk me back to the station when it got dark. This guy was also over protective of me to stop weirdos from harassing me. Back then I didn’t think of it as much, but now I realise what a big deal it was, as it’s non existent.

Modern society will try to portray him as a “simp” but he was a pretty masculine guy and he was doing nothing but looking out for a female friend. I will respect him forever.
