Yarvin pretty much said that the left has so much institutional power in SF that they gone far beyond even what the leftist voters want, especially on the lack of will to crack down on the homeless. Virtue signaling has a cost I guess. Hard to feel any sympathy.

They want to be leftist - a competitive position so whatever is "too far" for some to accept is what they champion. When there's a right, they stop when they outrage the right. If there's no right... This is why Yarvin is wrong about them losing energy when in charge
