I recalled a way to phrase conflict theory in a way that mistake theorists like myself can actually be assess.https://twitter.com/CovfefeAnon/status/1448346896494387202 …

Namely, there is the theory that conservative action is counter productive, because it increases progressive counter action by much more. This theory indicates that conflict theory is more factual than mistake theory.

So I'll give this to
@CovfefeAnon. Mistake theory comes much more easily to me than Conflict theory, so I gave much more credence to that. But I now believe Conflict theory is much more factual.1 reply 0 retweets 1 likeShow this thread -
Replying to @AdityaBsrk
I think the framing of "mistake vs conflict" theory was wrong but that it's a good framework. It's not "well, is mistake or conflict theory right" but "are the negative results of a certain coalition's policies the result of mistakes or conflict".

Also you can have mistake driven people who support the same policies preferred by conflict driven people because the mistake people are making ... a mistake. On the other side of that is people who refuse to even notice negative effects.
