Yeah but young people aren't really having a lot of sex. That's where this entire philosophy of pills dies for me. It would be one thing if women were just gravitating to a type of Pareto polyamory. But, most often, they just aren't choosing anyone or anyone to have sex with.

Seriously they are having less sex overall. 25% of all the women under 30 are functionally celibate. I just linked to the other guy's tweet. I'd be happy to see the stats you're pulling from Bomp. But, from over here, even if she's had multiple partners, she's doing it way less.

These two positions are in no way incompatible. It's as easy to say women are having more partners but less sex overall. If even people in monogamous relationships are having less sex, and given the lack of social stigma, it's easy to presume single women are having less sex too.
