Ladies and gentlemen, we cannot have a fruitful discussion on sex and marriage without acknowledging the truth about female sexuality. It feels like in all these twitter spaces this is the elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about.

Dating apps exacerbated what was already happening but to maybe a not as noticeable extent. As technology does, it removed the mediator of geography from the dating game. Instead of just competing with the cool guy in your town, you are now competing with giga chad 12 inch in NYC

That's what I mean, not as many people were because competition wasn't as stringent. I'm sure you knew one or two guys who were, now everyone has been thrown into the same pot so the stratification becomes much more severe.

"Core part of the problem" and "were critical for creating a new equilibrium" are different. Women strongly prefer the apps - no surprise since the apps are built to cater to women entirely - who knows what happens if you get rid of them The new public knowledge still out there

I tend to think that the main barrier was lack of information and only partly logistic. There's been a public preference falsification which doesn't get undone as easily as undoing the thing that allowed it - someone will try to figure out how to serve that now known need.
