In your bio, you have “the” before Magna Carta. This is profoundly incorrect. Kindly change it.
I like to be correct in usage. I'll go over his case when he comes back with it but I'll take it on good faith that he has one until then.
I learned the British usage, which is neither using a microscope nor requiring a history degree. I think it simply comes down to how you were exposed to Magna Carta in the first place.
