Liberal democracy is bad because of a chain of implications: Politics need teams Coalitions need gibs To give gibs you need to take them from someone To take from someone you need to morally elevate the receiver and denigrate the ones getting robbed (continued)https://twitter.com/pompilivs/status/1428265323782881280 …

The reactionary dilemma: is liberal democracy bad because the masses vote and are bought off by gibs ("aristocratic mode"), or is it bad because plutocratic capitalists are preventing us from having gibs ("Caesarist mode")?

In a diverse country, there's always a group that's less productive and one more productive Can't have the more productive as clients because there's no way to pay them off That's it - that's the whole problem and it's unsolvable.

Nigeria solved this problem by killing the more productive groups when they tried to make their own countries after getting shafted.

That works until you collapse to the point where you get invaded by your neighbors - see Pol Pot as an example.

I don't think you really need part B tbh, the requirement for factions that attempt to mutually exclude each other from a putatively unitary polity is sufficient

Me? Nothing. People who think "liberalism" or "liberal democracy" is a stable form of governance that doesn't inevitably result in a massive racial spoils system need to "solve" this tendency.
