Theory - Disney / Pixar rendered a generation unable understand to the emotions of other people due to constant childhood exposure to OVERSIZED eyes and EXAGGERATED expressions Real human expressions don't capture the attention as well so skills at reading them were never honedhttps://twitter.com/The_Jim_Jones/status/1058573086251872258 …

I think kids are more durable. They were permanently hobbled by the exaggerated expressions in Looney Tunes or Ren & Stimpy for example.

TV definitely fucked up the boomer's social skills. There is a cohort of them in their mid to late seventies that still talk like Howdy Doody. Or have you ever noticed how they stare blank faced as you talk to them, totally passive as if you are talking to them from a TV screen?

TV fucked up boomers' minds more than their social development. TV talked directly to them as if they were in on a secret. The phrase "all you kids out there" from someone on TV was a hypnotic to them. To this day they still believe whatever's on TV.
