You dont need to invent some pseud-BS Moldbug style about the mimetic mind virus "religion" of the "cathedral" to explain this. Cold hard rationality reveals the incentive chain.

You kind of do though, its frankly insane to posit that people are embracing sodomy, dog moms, and child sacrifice only due to it favoring centralization and power maximization. Pray tell, why wasn't the emperor of Ming China attended to by trans women of color then?

Feminism, Abortion and LGBT "normalization" were all policy agendas promoted by the Oligarchy's foundations, they weren't "spontaneous" developments. All three things serve structural goals, they create more dependent demographics that become clients of the bureaucracy.

Now you're just bullshitting: 1. I never said they were spontaneous, just that mere power maximization isn't enough to justify them.2. All of these things except maybe LGBT (which is debatable because it got medically classified in like 1850) far predate any globalist oligarchy.

Power maximization is more than enough motive for the elite donor class, yes. Do you think they are sincere libtards? If the powerful felt it would benefit them more to retvrn to traditional values, they could easily fund a political movement into existence to achieve that.

Putin and Jinping are good examples of this, commies who are now obviously not commies. But, people such as me and
@CovfefeAnon believe this happened not because the oligarchy changed course but because the intellectual/priestly class died or was replaced.2 replies 0 retweets 5 likes -

Putin & Xi are in a very different structural position, both in dominant positions relative to their respective oligarchies and hold genuine sovereignty. "Communism" is just a post hoc ideological rationalization of cold hard statecraft. https://firstness.org/issues/2#communism-and-the-developmental-state …

>"Communism" is just a post hoc ideological rationalization of cold hard statecraft The justification for power forces the hand of the people who want power because of coordination problems. The USSR constantly had agricultural failure out of ideological commitment.

Everyone knew they could solve the problem, no one could do it because any leader who tried to step away from communism either would start a preference cascade (as happened) or would get replaced - either way all ambitious people were locked into the system.

Everything had to be rationalized back into the official state ideology, sure. But communist ideology has proven quite malleable, Stalin totally transfigured Leninism, and look at how far the CCP has developed beyond OG Maoism.

What you see in both those cases are a single man who won a power struggle and tamed the ideological elements (by murdering them). Post Stalin USSR was still trapped. Post USSR collapse CCP had a powerful coordination point - can't either openly abandon communism nor keep going.
