Curtis Yarvin is not stupid - he knows that the exact men whose letters Caesar burned *murdered him* a few months later. His successor Augustus did not hesitate to proscribe his enemies and died an old Emperor. The lesson is the opposite of the one he's ostensibly teaching.pic.twitter.com/WRBY6zoSLx

Mr. Yarvin has zero hands-on experience in politics at any level. And neither has he worked as manager of a really big company, right? Why would anybody take his comments seriously? It’s mind-boggling.

People take his comments seriously because he makes good arguments grounded in a solid basis of historical knowledge, backed by examples and strong systems level reasoning Perhaps you prefer to seriously consider commentary from someone with political experience like Marco Rubio

So it's interesting, but 100% theory without direct input from real-life experiences. That's what Karl Marx did, too. Not saying that he is (completely) wrong, but it's astonishing that people aren't more cautious just because his takes sound cool.

Yes, he wrote words and Karl Marx wrote words. You've cut right to the heart of it.
