Curtis Yarvin is not stupid - he knows that the exact men whose letters Caesar burned *murdered him* a few months later. His successor Augustus did not hesitate to proscribe his enemies and died an old Emperor. The lesson is the opposite of the one he's ostensibly teaching.pic.twitter.com/WRBY6zoSLx

I think that even in this anecdote he is thinking of the other examples he usually uses like gestapo officers who are still getting their pensions instead of the shitshow that happened after Caesar dies

He also uses the example of *Stasi* officers collecting pensions - unsurprising considering his own earlier statement that America is communist country. USG and its clients prosecute 90+ year old women who worked as secretaries for SS officers - far cry from paying pensions.

The regime change from the Nazi regime to the American regime, and the one from the Soviet Regime to the American regime are completely different. One is violent and the other is as non-violent as they come.

That's one of the major differences, yes. Of course, that it was a non-violent transition in one case shows which government USG considered something that could never be accepted vs something it could accept.
