3. I still don't understand how trans people existing _actually_ affects you directly--political wars over control apparatus aside, which I've already acknowledged are bad but which I think your rhetorical tactics exacerbate.

If so I'm not understanding you well enough. You're talking about two different things: a set of political tactics and one class of actors who use them (when in fact most actors attempt to use the same tactics most of the time, because they work, which annoys me too).

Even if all the trans people vanished tomorrow, you'd still be grappling with the same set of tactics to advocate for positions you didn't like. I still don't see how trans people affect you directly outside of political tactics. Is Sonya correct that children are the issue?

Using violence (implied or otherwise) to force people to move out of cities that their ancestors built into new areas where they'll be isolated and attacked anyway is straightforwardly an attack of the sort that sets up future escalating attacks.
