Went and looked through literally every mayo brand in the grocery store. Every single one had SOYBEAN OIL as its primary or secondary ingredient. Felt like Diogenes looking for an honest man

Mayo is surprisingly easy to make if you have a food processor. It won't last as long in the fridge though.

Second the surprisingly easy but should just use a whisk. Takes seconds - crack an egg, separate the yolk, pinch of mustard, whisk. Drizzle in olive oil while whisking. Add lemon juice and salt to taste, done.

I think the extra virgin olive oil overpowers the taste. Avocado is decent tho

Higher quality eggs have more flavor and don't get overwhelmed but obviously you can go either way
