Our new home doesn't have a microwave. After a few weeks of cooking I'm thinking I'll never use one again. Poison comes in many forms. Get rid of your microwave.

Lol microwaves are famous for their uneven cooking. And they dry out meat to the point that it's basically sawdust. Glad you can save the extra minute because you don't have to wash a pan tho

Braised meat is already "dry" in that the moisture has been cooked out (cooking for 2+ hours will do that) but it has a moist mouthfeel because the collagen has dissolved to gelatin - which is entirely undamaged by reheating in a microwave.
