"She tricked you into liking her by being nice" is solipsism by women *Women* hate the idea that men can trick her into liking him by mimicking dark triad personality traits b/c she's looking for signals. Men don't mind getting tricked by niceness b/c we're looking for niceness.

"oh no she's being nice to me anything but that" it's pure projection because of course women tend to feel the opposite of attraction to men who are nice. "if he likes me being nice to him then he is an idiot" <- logic from a woman who has no theory of mind

Someone once advised me to read the book “Why men love bitches” I didn’t read it and have no idea what to make of the advice (from an older, married woman). Is there such a thing as being too nice in a relationship?

In a relationship, it’s impossible two people will always agree. So a woman who pretends to always agree is not genuine. What makes a marriage work is two adults who say what they think politely but firmly, and a recognition that compromise is essential.

Fuck compromise. Someone has to be in charge and the only way it works is if that's the man. That said, he'd be terrible at the job if he didn't take into account his wife's wishes but that's not "compromise".

Do you think this is because women are almost always worse at making decisions than men, or because a committee of two is almost always worse at making decisions than a single leader? Or both?

Neither. Women are only capable of maintaining love for men who lead them, as I think the argumentation of some of the commenters above demonstrates

I think this is broadly accurate but outside weirdo land it works best in practice when it functions more like a constitutional monarchy than a 24/7 bdsm thing

BDSM is a sick joke because of "safe words" - "I trust you completely except that I have veto power" - reverses the supposed dynamic entirely and becomes about the D pleasing the S - no one gets what they want. The whole over the top game is there to conceal that.
