For misogynists, you see this in the "pick-me" phenomenon--a certain kind of man salivates for women who judge, ostracize, punish or just generally express ill-will toward other women. It's an ugly thing. When you can't bond over love, you bond over hate.

This cartoon is an example of the same phenomenon gender-flipped: The man-hating woman's ideal man is a man-hater. She feels drawn to him because he's hateful (to other men). In this case, it's low-key, but it's still ugly.
