As such, I think that organizations, public and private alike, have a right to exclude anti-vaxxers from their premises and services if their presence risks an immunocompromised person. Before you get mad at me, that's what freedom of association entails!

Organizations have the right to service anti-vaxxers if they wish, but they should make that very clear so that people who are immunocompromised will understand the risk.

while I am fine with free association the reality is that vaccinated people are spreading the disease widely, this logic is not particularly strong as a result also closed systems with 90-100% vax rate are still having outbreaks see recent hms queen elizabeth one

there is no herd immunity to this disease, so the reality is that if you are immuno-compromised that sucks, having a broad-ranging campaign to keep unvaccinated people out of public and private places isn't going to fix that AND

why should everyone's life revolve around immuno compromised people? Why not just exclude *them*?

Because it's not their choice to be that way. I'm sure most of them would kill to take a shot that would restore their immune systems to normal levels.

and you stop just at them? how about ppl who had anaphylaxis before and probably odds are would be fine taking the vax but they are scared they might not be, don't want the risk? Do they get a pass?

I'm ok with people getting special permission from doctors if a vaccine is a realistic risk to them.

what about ppl who are immune compromised due to their own choices? E.g. AIDS. Are they out too? or do gays get a pass?

Again, I'm sure most every person with AIDS would kill to have a shot that would end their condition.

Interesting to phrase it that way since there was something they could have done (well, not done) to avoid HIV entirely. Have to be really trying very hard to get HIV. Of course, HIV is thought of as something that just happens but covid transmission is due to a moral failing.

Ok, but this is all rather orthogonal to my point. If people don't want to be vaxxed, fine, but organizations shouldn't be compelled to cater to them either.
