Curtis' argument has 3 parts 1 Taking over school boards to "stop" CRT will fail 2 The reaction to this by the people who failed will be to accept it - learned helplessness 3 "CRT" can't be stopped without replacing the entire regime 2 is debatable - 1&3 are absolute truthhttps://twitter.com/Chowman30103166/status/1415786741051633664 …

Kurt Yarvin's take on CRT is that dissidents taking over local school boards won't work instead the plan is to have an elite bugman (him) go to the American ruling class and convince them to follow his ROMAN IMPVRIUM CRT and no I did not make that up

The productive debate is solely focused on (2) (if you're arguing 1 or 3 you're lost) - does this effort failing get more people to accept the need for regime change or not?

In the past the system would put effort into creating learned helplessness - it would make some kind of symbolic compromise that it would silently erode over time. Now the system no longer wants to even do that.

Here Curtis Yarvin asserts that people will still accept the system's rebuff even without the comforting reassurances. Maybe he's right, maybe he's not.

The debate around the second point is one of timeline - if/when defeat comes, how long can it be endured. The answer could be decades, but it’s not forever

The American Regime is running through Tainter’s catabolic collapse in terms of shedding and simplification, if righties get into the school system they’ll destroy it

The psychological impact of seeing the manner in which power actually operates in your own society effects subsets of people differently. Even if 60% go learned helplessness, 40% have something go off in their head that permanently changes their relationship with the State

Yes, this is the heart of the argument around point 2 which isn't settled one way or the other.
