This is pretty close, but it was pushed by corporate America to lower labor prices way harder than it was pushed by the government for tax revenue. Government couldn't convince women to go to work, but the corporate-owned propaganda matrix sure could.https://twitter.com/BekahBunnie/status/1414632071599902722 …

No. This is "women are angels" thinking. Women *desperately* wanted sexual liberation - it just doesn't work out how they thought it would so they rationalize that it must have been that someone tricked them.

Women aren't a monolith. Some really wanted it, some didn't, most were ambivalent. Same as men.

Also, median number of partners for women only went from like 1 to 3. For men it went from like 2 to 8.

No, the number of median partners that women said they had went from 1 to 3. If you believe that number you simply haven't known women.

I think there's truth to your points but you're exaggerating somewhat. The median gap between men and women in terms of personality traits/desires isn't huge (but it may seem bigger if you focus on the extremes).

Ehh, disagree pretty hard here. Men and women evolved very differently, just based on who gets slaughtered when being conquered and who doesn't. Women are much more adaptable just based on thousands of years of being war spoils.

I'm not saying that's *wrong.* I'm saying it doesn't mean "no woman is capable of love, they're all unfaithful by nature" or something over the top like that.

They're not unfaithful by nature (rates of false paternity based on Y chromosome / surname correspondence) are quite low (under 2% per generation) but that's what happens when society backs husbands.
