I think I've had discussions w/enough Boomer-tier Trump supporters who believe the 2020 election was fraudulent to extract a general theory about their perspective. It is also the perspective of most of the people at the Capitol on 1/6, and probably even Trump himself. 1/x

This is an *excellent* thread summarizing the issue but the part about people tuning out if a certain subject is breached isn't some accident - if this thread is effective the machine will put out new instructions that will cause them to tune out the info in this thread, too.

At some point people have to realize that there's no path to success that has as a step "the other side admits that they're wrong". They won't be persuaded and if it looks like they would be then they'll learn to stop listening long before. Now what?
