FRED THIS AMOUNT IS A DIRECT REFLECTION ON U U HAVE NOT PAID THIS OFF
Yeah, the mean is negative for the entire population. Not sure how that's informative about the rank order of contributions by racial group.
NO SIR, /U/ SPENT THAT MONEY U SPENT 226 THOUSAND DOLLARS U DIDN'T HAVE USING SOMEONE ELSE'S POCKETBOOK
The original claim was that diversity created $7T in value (probably in gross terms). ANRC asked whether blacks contributed on net, that is, whether they consume less than they produce. Given that they have lower average incomes they almost certainly don't.
The difference is funded through government transfers, at least primarily. Assessing this is relatively straightforward so long as you make some simplifying assumptions about public good provision/distribution.
OK, then be really explicit. How is it the case that blacks have, on average, lower incomes and the US has a progressive taxation system and means tested social safety programs and that they don't have worse relative contribution to the government budget?
To give just one example of many: In the U.S. the entire culture industry, (particularly music, comedy, and fashion) is dependant on innovation from black creators. Not that other groups don't contribute, but comparatovely black people contribute more then any other group.
Because one is "blacks good" and the other is "blacks bad" so whatever mental contortions he has to suffer through to justify one and disavow the other will be made Incidentally, those contortions are a real cost when it means you can't use any tools that have "disparate impact"
