useless puppet for his entire reign? As with anything one controls, why would Dems allow outsiders to control the narrative, regardless of if they are stupid or smart? You are correct however that the Democrats are better at doing propaganda than Republicans, and probably would

be even if the Republicans controlled the United States with an iron fist. Leftists generally just do propaganda better than rightists (see Republican vs Nationalist Spain, I'm sure the dynamic was also there between Nationalist China and Communist China).

I would also like to point out; the fact that Democrats do propaganda better than the Republicans doesn't necessarily make Democratic propaganda "smarter," only more effective. This may seem like a silly distinction, but I think it is important. You, as someone far outside the

American shitshow, and me, as someone far outside the retarded mainstream, can easily see how stupid many of the Democratic narratives are. The fact that white shitlibs believe drugs had nothing to do with Floyd's death, that white supremacists are terrorizing darkie's ghetto

that white supremacists are beating Asian people, that we need to send out more foreign aid/military incursions to make the world "safe for democracy." Literally every single one of these narratives can be disproven with a cursory glance at the FBI crime database, a conversation

with a local actually living in an urban area, or witnessing the local, boots-on-the-ground results of our foreign interventions. Democrat narratives aren't any smarter than the Republicans', they're absolutely retarded. But they work, because they're coordinated much better.

It does come down to institutional support. The problem isn't that there's no right wing NYT - cranking out the highest tier of narrative justification - the problem is that there's no right wing Harvard where people not only learn a world-view but also create a peer group.

Once you have that peer group you can have an ecosystem of propaganda organs like NYT - aiming at the Harvard set (& read by the aspiring members) which trickles downward to other propaganda organs who reinforce the story hoping to get noticed and promoted to a higher tier organ

That a RW version of this doesn't exist is obvious but it simply can't exist because of the dynamics of how the structure functions and who and what people and ideas it promotes. It's a machine for finding left-wing takes and can only work as such b/c only LW ideas create energy

LW ideas are about promoting more power to the egregore so the whole system is flawless - it creates incentives for individuals to find the best takes that give power to the group and rewards the creators of those ideas with power that it took from its ongoing operations.

Alasdair MacIntyre talks about this, a sound social structure is constituted such that the same actions that are moral coincide with the same actions that bring prosperity. (his example bring Homeric Greece) The left has that and the right has the opposite.

For instance, you will LOSE your job and maybe be beaten by a street mob if you act according to right-wing morals.
