I don't know what reality you're living in, but any serious Republican in this country today doesn't believe the media was "just making mistakes" or "just being stupid" when they deliberately coverup or refuse to report on known stories for months, if ever lol.

True, but they don't understand why. In this case, they believe the Liberals are apparently all secret Chinese agents and/or afraid of being called racist when the prosaic reality is that the Republicans are too stupid to launch a propaganda campaign for people with 3 digit iqs.

The main reason isn't due to stupidity, Republicans can't do propaganda because they have no real institutional control. There is no Republican media complex, there is no Republican academia or Republican bureaucracy. They have no assets to work with. Why do you think Trump was a

be even if the Republicans controlled the United States with an iron fist. Leftists generally just do propaganda better than rightists (see Republican vs Nationalist Spain, I'm sure the dynamic was also there between Nationalist China and Communist China).

I would also like to point out; the fact that Democrats do propaganda better than the Republicans doesn't necessarily make Democratic propaganda "smarter," only more effective. This may seem like a silly distinction, but I think it is important. You, as someone far outside the

American shitshow, and me, as someone far outside the retarded mainstream, can easily see how stupid many of the Democratic narratives are. The fact that white shitlibs believe drugs had nothing to do with Floyd's death, that white supremacists are terrorizing darkie's ghetto

that white supremacists are beating Asian people, that we need to send out more foreign aid/military incursions to make the world "safe for democracy." Literally every single one of these narratives can be disproven with a cursory glance at the FBI crime database, a conversation

with a local actually living in an urban area, or witnessing the local, boots-on-the-ground results of our foreign interventions. Democrat narratives aren't any smarter than the Republicans', they're absolutely retarded. But they work, because they're coordinated much better.

It does come down to institutional support. The problem isn't that there's no right wing NYT - cranking out the highest tier of narrative justification - the problem is that there's no right wing Harvard where people not only learn a world-view but also create a peer group.

Once you have that peer group you can have an ecosystem of propaganda organs like NYT - aiming at the Harvard set (& read by the aspiring members) which trickles downward to other propaganda organs who reinforce the story hoping to get noticed and promoted to a higher tier organ

That a RW version of this doesn't exist is obvious but it simply can't exist because of the dynamics of how the structure functions and who and what people and ideas it promotes. It's a machine for finding left-wing takes and can only work as such b/c only LW ideas create energy
