My Physics teacher told us 3 girls in the class that girls don’t have the brains to cope with Physics. I believed him and sold myself very short. Still passed Physics but lost the drive.
Perhaps but I was able to study Pure Maths at Uni and may have been more inclined to pursue Physics with a more inspirational teacher. Research shows teacher expectations have a significant impact on results.

It’s a “list of factors related to student achievement.” Did you ever think some students might not be as smart as others?

It's astounding that you've managed to teach for 34 years and not notice that students differ in intelligence. The only possible conclusion is that you have approximately the intelligence of a dog - to whom all humans seem like wizards with magical powers.
