These replies... People believe that women can’t compete at the same level as men just because it hasn’t been done in recent history? Lol. I propose it is nurture and not nature that causes athletic disparities between genders. To me: Size/weight divisions would make sense.

so basically what you're saying is that the last few thousand years of recorded history has not provided us with enough evidence, so we need to give women a few more thousand years of time to evolve as a species to determine whether there is a true uninhibited difference or not

What I’m saying is we’ve never been treated the same in recorded history so just give it a chance and see what happens. We are always evolving based on our environments.

Women wouldn’t have qualified for the 100m in the 2016 Olympics. The 8th placed man was 0.65 seconds faster than the 1st place woman.pic.twitter.com/wkc7n8DO6N

Oh you didn’t tag me in any of those tweets so I didn’t get to see them til now. Thank you for the history. I have seen all these stats before. But no one takes into account that women were not even allowed to play Olympic sports until 1900. Evolution is slow but I’m optimistic.

You don't seem to understand what evolution is because you're implying that horses could grow giraffe necks if you only let them feed off tall trees.
