Unfortunately for you, you have no grounds for ethical or even scientific claims specifically because of your atheism, so there's nothing wrong with "condemning" people to lives of loneliness and frustration.

Remember though, the Bible teaches that celibacy is a gift, not something that should be forced upon anyone. So requiring all gay Christians to be single and celibate for life stands completely at odds with the Bible’s teaching on celibacy.

Celibacy is the only option which could be considered holy or good for someone suffering from homosexual proclivities. That's my argument in regards to that.

Then you’re going against the Bible by believing all homosexuals have to be celibate.

Yes you are. The Bible says we have free will, so we may do with our lives as we please. Therefore celibacy is not the only option for homosexuals, because they have the will to decide for themselves. Forcing them into celebicy would be going against their free will

Your logic applies to men who really just love to commit murder, too.

How so? One harms other people, the other does not. Two men fucking in their own private home hurts literally no one.

The argument is both that it does hurt others (in many ways) and that even if it didn't it's still sinful - you're assuming your conclusion by asserting "it harms no one so it's ok".

How does it harm people? Regardless of its "sinfulness' it's two consenting adults doing something in private

So clearly you've given up the religious side of the argument, right? Because the standard for that isn't "two consenting adults" - that's a different religion (liberalism). As far as the social destruction that results - it's massive and varied and often surprising.
