Huh. New guy who started exactly 10 business days ago resigned. Said it was “too hard and the learning curve would be too much.” He was only interviewed by ELEVEN execs and senior team members. What did he think? We play golf all day?? I’m shocked.

Pretty easily, humans are VERY bad at interviewing. There's tons of studies on this. Its why when I used to interview a lot of people, I'd always give a small project for them to do... because its easy to confuse good at peopling, with good at job.

I get that people don't always work out, had that happen where I work, but that's a lot of people to fool, for a pretty big deficiency

It's easier to fool more people because each one thinks that since the others aren't objecting that he's not seeing the red flag that he thinks he's seeing
