It's a double bind. You constantly have to perform, but if you perform wrong, you're punished brutally, but if you don't perform you don't get a chance at playing, and if you ask what the rules are you're considered "going against the spirit of the game."

That part isn't even that bad - it's the fact that the womanly "here's a test where the only way to pass it is to ignore what I said I wanted" meets a male-centered legal system that's all-powerful that operates on only explicit communication.
