Wealthy corporations and large chains will indeed buy the land where destroyed small businesses once stood and build new outlets. McDonalds, Nike stores, etc. will replace the old mom & pop hardware stores destroyed by joggers.

The riots serve as a bludgeon for Corporate America. Businesses that were already hurting due to the pandemic measures were shut down for good by BLM riots. Riots served two functions: A.) Intimidate the population and B.) destroy the local community.

Its not going to happen overnight. The property values of these places will tank and eventually years from now, it'll be owned by big business, not local people.

Yeah, just like Detroit where their plan is entering it's 5th decade. Invest in amazon at pre-IPO prices? Nah. Bitcoin? Nah Coinbase? Nah Detroit real estate and hold for 80 years! That's the way to go.
