"own people" implies separate groups of humanity and different categories of people. I reject that narrative. Differences among humans are superficial and cultural -- not genetic

Both/and. We're different peoples, of different blood, with different trait distributions and affinities. Kinship, extended family, matters. To get what you desire would require universal denial of identity. You'd strip the Black man of his people to create utopia, too?

NO not "different blood". Same blood. Same DNA, same species that evolved over millions of years to its environment around the planet. Physiological differences -- skin tone -- are a recent (last 15000 years) phenomena.

Rather than appearance being key here - it's physically measurable traits some of which are obviously related to mental traits. Example - gestation period (less time needed for smaller headed babies) brain size pelvic opening size skull volume etc. All this stuff is the basics.
