History is really disserviced by the way it is segmented up into discrete buckets. So much is lost by the inability to take the wider view and examine events in a global or even a regional context.

I never realized it when I was in school but a major disconnect with history was that there was never an overall context for the dates - just selected excerpts from here and there.

It's absurd, especially if you dig in a little bit and realize how interconnected everything is. Then you take the next step back and realize how global-level events matter. Solar flare cycles, volcanic eruptions, etc.

The push to make sure no one speaks of the suppressed truths of the Education field has the consequence that intelligence and ability to systematize is harshly filtered out A knock-on effect is that the least systematizing minds in the world design children's education curricula
