CB stalled the NYT's attack but NYT still exists. NYT only has to win once to gain leverage over CB then it can win more and more by having CB employ agents of the progressive egregore who help it get further victories. They blocked an attack but the other side can attack again

Yep, but it does suggest that CEO fear of the media is driven by a fear of loss of social status for CEO, not actual market cap.

Partly but CEO fear of the media is far more driven by fear of the media activating agents within the CEO's org. Notice that CB's successful defense was after he rooted out people who would prefer to act in the interest of the prog egregore rather than the company.

Also now it’s publicly traded coinbase is much more susceptible to these attacks than when it was a private company and could do what it wanted.

Lets say *Coinbase* wins then. The progressives still skinsuit Coinbase. Can't win by having an institution own valuable things when the enemy is warring to take over your institution.

Yes. Being public of course grants them more tools to use against CB. Every step they take is like that - pure power for its own sake. Force the target to do things that give you more power over him which is reflexively seen as good.
