I came across the concept of 'kinkshaming' yesterday. It is, I gather, shaming people for their revolting sexual perversions. Naturally I assumed that the term was meant approvingly. Readers, I was wrong. Inexplicably, it seems to be typically thought of as bad. The mind boggles

I get the distinct impression that 'kink-shaming' is an elaborate attempt to persuade well bought up young women that their rightful distaste for various unpleasant and sometimes violent male sexual predilections is in some way politically suspect. Unpleasant.

...and a good thread undone by white knighting. Being against "kink shaming" is exactly the kind of longhouse bullshit that women create when given social power because being naturally afraid of social sanction they instinctively look to stamp it out ("wow, judge much?")
