Don't sell Roissy short. He compiled the highest predictive power model of female (and by extension leftist) behavior out there

Not selling him short at all - giving a tiny taste of the history of the blog and his following. He started more on game focused stuff and moved on to general red pill on women stuff then moved from there to the implications. The *public* journey took years.

his og wordpress blog is truly one of the great pieces of long form literature yeeted off the internet. Along with DJT's timeline (yes I know there's a backup now, but it's not perfect - there are poasts I remember that are missing)

His political takes were superior to the PUA stuff. Never really cared for that, but he came up with some good lines and had the left's number.

I disagree. He was one of the few fellas providing effective predictive models with application to LTR, not just selling scripts for a nite at da club (TM)

I'm thinking of it in terms of personal taste, not the quality of the writing or the thoughts provoked by the concepts presented.

well his political takes were directly downstream of his mental of fęmale (and thus leftist) behavior. but I can respect wishing to skip over that in a sort of Feynmanian way https://www.e-reading-lib.com/chapter.php/71262/34/surely-youre-joking-mr-feynman-adventures-of-a-curious-character.html …pic.twitter.com/y5O73EKfpm

That's a weak take by Feynman - accept that women are women. If there's a disconnect between "how you were brought up" and reality then so much the worse for how you were brought up.

I dunno, I can really sympathize with what Feynman is saying. E.g. the best sex has always been right after driving my girl to tears by hammering some point of mine in an argument. Knowing this mechanism I could abuse it, but I just don't like it.

Purposefully bringing the girl to tears ain't a good thing. Minmaxing your social relationships seems ungentlemanly to me.

Purposefully is bad; incidentally is fine and can be positive. Purposeful implies that you're doing it just for the effect and smacks of dark stuff because it's direct emotional manipulation; incidental implies indifference to the short-term in favor of the long-term.
