I do, but she herself is a genuine compression of these arguments, and in my experience the appropriate male response is coldness. If, G-d forbid, any of my daughters were to behave like she does, my only real recourse is coldness.

If we turn the argument over, men are predisposed to charity towards women and children, and while I would not personally blame this woman for her behavior, the way to get less of it seems cruel and personal.

The way to get less viral spread would be to lock everyone down with door bolts like in China, or w/ thieves to chop an arm off, but these look like cures which are worse than the sickness. I don't want to be part of a culture whose only way to enforce order is the above.

This is precisely the opposite of what I've said, almost to the point of a bad faith strawman. I'm going to bow out of this now, but please consider that women and men have different modes on the margins, and that your response might be asymmetrical.

The conclusion I drew is obviously a very extreme one and I don't insinuate that this is what you desire at all. However "the way to get less of it seems cruel and personal" has already been operating in Russia the last decade where beating your wife has gotten less stigmatized

Amazing the level of certainty that you have about all marriages. "No woman should ever fear beatings from her husband" We're humble enough to accept that the person in a position to know the answer in an individual case isn't us.

Marriages and family life where beating is expected is closer to the realm of beasts in the spiritual hierarchy. If you can't earn familial respect through any other means, you've already failed and on the way to walking on all fours like a деградант.

Accepting that for the sake of argument so what? What are you going to do with those couples where it is necessary? You haven't elevated anyone, you've given a flawed person the knowledge that she has an 800 lb gorilla state on her side in domestic disputes.

Education for one thing but not the sorry excuse for one we have now. I agree the state problem remains but you throw the baby with the bathwater when you only look at the way things have been done before.

While I see most of humanity as in a fallen state to what may have existed before, this is magnified with cultures where such beating is permissive. (Like in parts of Russia) This is different than risking your life in fighting for your county / community.

We'll just send those couples to school to learn respect and tolerance and how she shouldn't be turned on by violence and how she shouldn't have an innate desire to test her man's strength.
We can call it the Academy of Undoing Evolution.
