So you think there's a profitable business to be created in selling $9k trucks and *no one* enters it because existing players would rather not undercut their own market in expensive trucks? Why? Out of courtesy to them? Impossible without external factors (regulation).

The 'market' will never provide that though, it would need to be some kind of government project, or state enterprise. A people's wagon of some sort, perhaps.

50 year old "market failure" prog meme. Capital chases returns - that's what it does in every area... except in building trucks because competitors are so considerate of not eating GM's lunch. Weird coincidence that GM used to serve as a source of income for a prog vote bank.
