On the HBO show "Rome", one time Caesar has an epileptic fit and hides it by going into a private room; to avoid anyone guessing his medical condition he pretends to have been having sex with a boy. How times have changed!

My recollection is that he insists that the boy stay in the private room with him for the sake of appearances, implying that he views the implication of sex with the boy as less damaging than the suggestion of epilepsy. (It was considered a curse from the gods).
