In what BJJ ruleset would this be an illegal slam? This isn’t excessive force with intent to injure, he doesn’t excessively elevate nor jump into it, and it’s a continuous motion of a legitimate technique. It’s at least ADCC and IBJJF legal. Other than that, I’m with you!

True - hard takedowns aren't illegal - don't get taken down hard. A second watch shows that he didn't elevate into it.
