The very simple answer is "it matters to men and you will be less desirable to men and that you very much care about". Women are commonly under the delusion that they get to argue men out of their preferences. https://twitter.com/passobamacare/status/1352363251959525376 …

There is a biological difference, it's just in the brain rather than the vagina. Traditional culture (virginity etc) creates a locus of sacredness to do with the hymen that doesn't actually matter as a way to reify cognitive changes that do matter.

This is classic Chesterton's fence - virginity in women is important because a virgin female will be more attached and loyal, which is valuable because of male paternity uncertainty.

Yes, and virginity in men is important because a virgin male will be more attached and loyal, which is valuable because of female resource uncertainty.

Maybe but that's more than offset by the opposite - a man who's never been with a woman has zero pre-selection and women instinctively know that men are under extremely heavy biological pressure for sexual release. The top thing that women are attracted to is pre-selection.

You sure it's the preselection and not mostly quality men being limited edition? Male virginity is a virtue (was in the old ages anyway), a sign of strength (unless you're just really ugly), and females are generally really jealous by nature.

Yes. It wasn't. It wasn't. That's a simplistic way of describing it - they're really not.
