exactly which is why he is unlikely to be ousted just because his employees become "sufficiently progressive" if anything the progressiveness of his employees just becomes a shield he can safely hide behind, never having to worry about them turning on him

Except that literally nothing is effective blackmail material on a progressive when he's being opposed by an anti-progressive. Only progressives can blackmail progressives and only with evidence of being anti-progressive.
