Has anyone written a big essay about how changes in corporate governance/finance led to the Woke Capital revolution? I'm pretty ignorant about the topic, but it seems like these things (soaring valuation for negatively profitable firms, changes in public markets) must be related

Big essay? No. (One of) the key factors for Woke Capital was (iirc) Peter Thiel's observation that the more (R) / more (D) the donations from a Wall St firm were the more / less likely they were to be permitted to go under.

When I tweeted I tried to find the source for it but failed. Too bad search engines have been on a massive decline - it would be great to have a working one for this kind of thing.
