What's the best argument against a #LandValueTax?
I looked into it and it seems like a Land Value Tax would be better than income tax.
For people in the
UK
this is like having 0 income tax but much higher council tax. There would be more jobs and the economy would grow.

I like the land value tax. In theory a tax on the unimproved value of the land lines up incentives well and is very efficient. It captures the difference between land in Manhattan vs land in the country without disincentivizing owners to make capital investments.

True enough, it doesn't solve the core problem - it's a tool that a government does not hate you can use to do good. That same tool used by a government that does hate you like this one will be used destructively.
