It seems like a stretch to think that a study showing, say, that men draw better than women could somehow be used to justify that it's "natural" that there are fewer women in STEM than men.
I agree that historically women have been excluded from STEM and the academy and this was post-hoc justified by correlational studies (showing differences) which were passed off as establishing causality. So it seems rational to strongly object to cor->cause.
But if as a society we become biased against just correlational studies (which don't claim/imply causality) which "favor" men, then that becomes a problem for discovering what is true.
No, as a society we know what's true - it's why there has to be bias against accepting certain categories of results. Women are less capable, less intelligent and create bad cultures for science to actually get done - everyone knows this which is why there is crimestop around it
