1. Be beautiful 2. Make him wait a decently long time for sex (>1 month, <3 w/ many interactions together, like 10 evenings/days/dates) 3. Be kind, feminine, actually listen to him

The second is bad advice anyway. If he's attractive to women he knows you've gone to bed with other men within hours of meeting them so any attempt to withhold sex becomes a red flag.

It's not about that. Men need to be made to work for it in order to value it.

In practice no woman is worth "working for" b/c you know with certainty that she didn't impose this requirement on men she was actually attracted to. We have a reversed sexual market - men have to look for signs of women faking attraction instead of the converse with commitment.

The reason i began to “hold out” with guys i was attracted to (as recommended) is not because i was unattracted but because i developed the selfesteem to stop trying to trade sex for love & wait to see if they were actually interested in me or just my body, if capable of intimacy

Seeing as i am me and you are not and im reporting my own experience i feel confident to stand by this. And although sure, others’ experience and motivations will differ, i would be surprised if i was alone.

No, you're reporting on the motivations for your actions. I don't doubt the self-report of your actions beyond the normal amount of doubt of the honesty that any woman's self-report of her sexual activity gets (which is pretty high)

One of us doesn't know what hostility is.
