Analogy i keep coming back to: some sports, like MLB, punish things that hide cheating as hard as they punish the actual cheating. A substance that can be used to mask steroids when tested = punishment as if you were taking roids, even w/ no specific proof of the latter

Not just sports - the legal system. Destroying evidence that's under subpoena is supposed to be a more serious crime than whatever is being investigated b/c otherwise the incentive is always to do so. This (of course) has been forgotten because it was inconvenient for Hillary
