Wait - people hate Wlad Klitschko? Guy is one of the two greatest heavy weight boxers of all time - KO rate was huge vs high quality opposition. 64-5 54(!) by KO, 29 heavyweight title fights.

It's actually a really complicated question. I found the analysis at http://www.heavyweightblog.com/488/heavyweight-boxing-toplists … to be a good examination

Replying to @PereGrimmer
That blog really opened my eyes on Mike Tyson - people claim he was a different fighter before / after prison but what really happened was the whole heavyweight division got much bigger during his time inside and that he always had trouble with big, tall fighters.

The analysis there brought me to this fight which really contextualized the Douglass fight. Tyson had tons of trouble with Smith who was clearly intimidated by Tyson's rep. A confident Smith who goes pro before he's 28 demolishes Tyson.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2F5qB4_x7E …
