Rational perspective on election fraud: In any given election there will be some fraud. As the true margin gets closer and closer to 0, the probability of fraud being the deciding factor increases. Fraud isn't a yes/no, it's a number - how many net votes are fraudulent?

A significant distinction is between fraud by voters (or people working to use voters to commit fraud by double voting or voting for non-voters) and fraud by vote counters. The latter is potentially unlimited in scope.

Imagine you’re a patsy tasked with juking the count: “Hi Mr. Nobody, we need you to risk federal prison and eternal infamy for the sake of...Joe Biden. Obviously we never had this conversation so you’re on your own if caught. Also, Twitter exists so don’t make any mistakes...”

Which is why it's vitally important to them to make sure that there are no observers in the vote counting facilities Get rid of the observers and you get a herd effect - "this is safe, everyone I see is doing it" plus it actually is safe because you can't pin it on an individual

I’m extremely skeptical you could find even five people willing to do this, and able to keep it a secret.

That's no problem since it isn't a secret.

Look, to be fair, I would personally agree to take part in ballot stuffing (e.g. to prevent President Sanders). But I’m a weirdo cynical utilitarian who has no respect for democracy. How many normal people you think would do it? 1/10? 1/20? It can’t be much more than that.

I think near 100% of DMV-lady types in black run cities would - African behavioral standards under high trust norms that enable cheating rather than restraining it with the specific American reluctance to see black misbehavior added to it. They can't imagine law applying to them

I work with black women, and let me assure you secrets are rarely kept, and no alliance goes unbetrayed for long. If this were going on with that cast of characters, we’d know. We’d have stories from 2000, 2008, 2016, etc. snitched out in lavish detail by now.
