I understand Republicans who are afraid of the rise of the far left. I absolutely am as well, I’ve written about it for years. But that’s a reason to vote for Biden, not against him....

... If Biden loses, the far left will say that moderates can’t win. Say what you will about Hillary, she was a moderate. Biden was the most moderate in the primary. If he loses, moderate, centrist liberalism will suffer a massive blow and the far left will be empowered...

I hear Trump-hesitant conservatives saying now “Biden is just going to let the far left run the show”. But had Bernie won the primary, how many of you would be saying “See if only a moderate like Biden had won, I’d vote for him”...

Through actual staffing. Through controlling the consensus around which agreements are made and disputes are resolved. Because no (D) will ever disagree with someone to his left except with meaningless words - never in action.

Oh please. Sure, sure, no D will ever disagree with someone to his left, except for the nominee for president, who disagreed with everyone to his left all throughout the primary campaign. Come on.

Like I said "in words". When a local prosecutor is further to the left of a mayor and decides to stop prosecuting crimes or let rioters out then no one actually fires him or takes any action. The most you'll get is a statement with no action.

1. This is not in any way relevant to Joe Biden, the presidency, or the federal government. 2. Local prosecutors don't work for mayors and mayors don't have the authority to fire them. In most states, prosecutors are independently elected.

It illustrates the dynamic; whenever someone on the left wants to exercise power against someone there's always a way to do it but suddenly when some prosecutor decides that crime is legal ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ nothing to be done.
