Sadly no. It's still harder for you to accept that some of your opponents knowingly optimize by actual, unequivocal evil. Because you have no answer to that. Your entire pluralist moral framework doesn't. It's easier to deny.

Near cliche statements aren't hidden truths. Much more painful to accept is that people loudly proclaim their desire to do good as cover for their actual desire to do evil. "But they say the same thing" - yes, they do. No getting away from actually having to use judgement.
